Grilled Buttermilk Rosemary Chicken

OK. This recipe is so simple, y’all.  I mean, easy peasy.  3 Ingredients, barely any prep, forget about it, and boom…. you’re ready to grill.  To us, this is reminiscent of Chick-Fil-A.  We have heard from a reliable source that they soak they the chicken breasts in milk, so that could possibly have something to do with it.  Anyway, these are so fresh, delicious, and pretty healthy when you think of it.  Pair this with some grilled onions and zucchini, perhaps some delicious roasted potatoes like these, and even some grilled Corn on the cob and you have it made in the shade with a simple, healthy, scrumptious meal.

Grilled Buttermilk Rosemary Chicken

Reach For:

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 small bottle of buttermilk
5-6 sprigs of fresh rosemary
*Optional: kosher salt

Directions:
Place chicken in a large Ziploc bag. Pour entire bottle of buttermilk and place fresh rosemary inside.  Shake around.  Marinate in the refrigerator for 8-10 hours.  Then place chicken and rosemary on the grill, discarding excess buttermilk.  (***If you’re running short on time, it’s alright if you only marinate 3-4 hours, but the longer you leave it in there the more scrumptious it gets).  Sprinkle with kosher salt if desired while on grill.

Serves: 4
