Get ready to channel your inner senior citizen if you’re not one already.  We may not all be fans of everything Red Lobster has to offer, but I don’t know anyone on God’s green earth who doesn’t enjoy a good Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuit.  I think the term, “melt in your mouth,” was invented for those delectable starters.  Well, just imagine that goodness in the form of a loaf.  You’re going to drool over this stuff.  Smear it with butter and you’ve got yourself a goooooooood thing!

Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuit Loaf

Reach For:

3 cups flour
1 TBSP baking powder
2 tsp salt
2 cloves garlic, minced
1.5 TBSP parsley
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp black pepper
1 cup sharp shredded cheddar
1 1/4 cups milk
3/4 cup sour cream
3 Tablespoons of butter, melted
1 egg, lightly beaten

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a 9×5 loaf pan.  In a mixing bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and spices.  Stir in cheese.  In a separate bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients and gradually fold into first mixture.  Spread into loaf pan.  Bake for 45-50 minutes.  Let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan and approximately 1 hour before slicing and serving.  (Freezes well!)
